The Blu Moon Bistro: A Trendy New American-Asian Fusion Dining Experience in Ludington

Out for a girls’ weekend, we had passed by this place earlier during the day and noticed it was packed. We all know that’s a good sign, right? So, we decided to stop in rather late that night for dinner and drinks. Luckily, the kitchen was still open! The bartender and our server (the sweetest girl ever visiting from Romania) were wonderful. The Blueberry mules were delicious! Our late night dinners consisted of some pretty amazing birria tacos and Colorado Nachos. We also couldn’t resist dessert to go and let me tell you…don’t pass up on that cheesecake flight!

We had delightful dinner after a 45 minute wait for a seat. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer was very crispy and the spicy sauce was the perfect addition. My wife really enjoyed the Bay of Fundy Salmon with the mashed potatoes, bacon and green beans, and the spicy creamed corn. My Laotian Noodle Bowl was full of very crispy vegetables and chicken. The sweet and spicy sauce made a very flavorful meal with an excellent portion size. We shared the creme brulee for dessert. It was unique with a slight hint of salted caramel to it. The entire staff was friendly and on task. They were working hard to move people through. Our server,Alaina , was awesome. Her personality was exactly what we appreciate, a little bit of personal conversation and an attention to detail that completed the dining experience.

Food was fantastic and presentation perfect!! Only reason for 4 stars, we were forgotten till I went up to the hostess. The service and waitress after that was superb. The sushi was amazing and the fish and burrito was great too. I thought it was worth the money but my fiance doesn't agreeing with me.

Went in and ordered take out at the bar. The inside is industrial and hip. Great vibe overall. Ordered the Forest Floor mushroom soup and the House Wontons. Both very delicious. The wontons had great flavor and loved the dipping sauce. The soup was a bit peppery but yummy. They open at 4pm so you will want to plan accordingly.

Great food and service! We were so hungry and Blu Moon did not disappoint. The Burrito was full of flavor. I have a favorite place up north for wings and I'm a wing snob but these sirracha wings were amazing please excuse the partial photos, we'd already ate before we remembered to take photos! BTW the sushi looked amazing..next time for sure.

The food and service here was very good, we both got the Sockeye Salmon Burger and it was GREAT. The atmosphere and music was very pleasing too!

Took a quick drive to Ludington and had a great sushi dinner. Delicious sushi and Jesse M provided terrific service. Best restaurant in Ludington. The spicy seaweed salad is definitely spicy but really good.

Our time at Blu Moon was nothing short of amazing. We got the Spicy Tuna rolls, Vegas Rolls, and the Laotion Pasta Bowl. Our drinks were Mango & Pomegranate Martinis. They were all very good, especially the Vegas Rolls! So awesome that they offer sushi but it's not there entire menu. Atmosphere was perfect for our anniversary and service was very smooth. Our waitress tended to us quickly and was very friendly. Highly recommend eating here!
